Such a Crazy Weekend!

Whew!! Way too much was planned for last weekend, but it was so much fun. It all started Saturday with the cutest baby shower I have ever seen. My friend Mary is pregnant, and I am impatiently waiting the arrival of her daughter Sophia. I have already called "dibs" on Mary's baby... she and Roman are betrothed. :) Did I already mention that her shower was just the cutest EVER!? And it was so good to finally see all my girls. Roman hung in there for quite a while, but we had to leave a little early so he could take a nap. Then we had dinner and drinks with our friends for Beau's 35th birthday... Happy Birthday Beau!!! And and BIG THANK YOU to Ken and Lexy for watching the little man so that Marc and I could have some adult time. It was very much appreciated. And then on Sunday Marc's friend Matthew and his wife visited from Italy, so we were tour guides for the day. We took them to the Stone Brewery, Del Mar, La Jolla, Sea Port Village, and then dinner at the Fish Market. It was a crazy busy day, but Roman was a trooper. I think he liked being out and about all day... we of course paid the price for our fun with an exhausted child the next day, and I came down with a cold. But it was totally worth it... And wouldn't you know it... all this excitement and I only took one picture the entire weekend: the girls, Roman, and I at Mary's shower.

This weekend Sarah will be here! Hooray!! I have a few things planned, but mostly she's coming to relax and hang out before her little ones arrive in July. She's expecting a boy AND a girl, and this auntie couldn't be more thrilled. Oooh! I need to leave soon to grab her from the airport... Until next time :)
