Today it was a little warm in Escondido, so I decided that it would be fun to pull Rome's little plastic bathtub into the kitchen so that he could play in the water. Since we still haven't replaced the crappy linoleum floors in the kitchen, I figured that he could just go crazy in there, and even though it took him a bit to get going, he ended up having a blast! He still bathes lying down on his little froggie mat, so I don't think he realized how much fun being in a tub full of water could be. At first all he did was chew on some of his bath books and water toys, but then he saw his feet and started kicking. I think he was a little startled at first, but then he just started throwing water everywhere and laughing. We were probably playing in that tub for an hour, and he loved every second of it. Marc has a conference downtown next week, and since he'll be staying at the Hyatt, we figure that I can come down and use the pool during the day, and I cannot wait to see what Romey does then!
