Memorial Day

Yesterday was such a nice day; the weather was absolutely perfect! We headed over to our friend Cora's for a little barbecue and some relaxation. It feels like we haven't seen Cora in ages, so it was really nice to see her and hang out with all of our friends. We had such a great time, and Roman got to splash around in a pool for the first time, and he LOVED it! Marc was brave enough to get into the water with him so that Romey could play; I had wanted to wait to see if Rome liked it, and then I was going to get in, but the water was a little cold, so we didn't keep him in there for too long. As soon as Rome got into the water he was all smiles. I thought that maybe he would be a little scared or a little worried about being in the water, but he was happy the entire time. The second he touched the water, he started splashing and kicking around; it was so much fun to watch him having such a good time. Marc's conference downtown starts tomorrow, and now that I know he will enjoy it, I am super excited about taking Romey to the pool. It is going to be a blast!
