Happy Fourth of July!

Happy Birthday America and Happy First 4th of July Romey! (Oh, and Happy Birthday Erik!) This weekend has been great! First, on Saturday while I was working on my thesis at the SDSU library, I think I finally (FINALLY) figured out the central thesis of my thesis! Hooray! My friend Len and I have been getting together to do some research and writing, and it has been paying off big time. I forgot how much I LOVE spending all day in the library and how much I LOVE the smell of old books. Ah, it's a little bit of heaven. And then yesterday we headed over to Beau and Jaime's house for a little early-4th celebration. We had a great time, but we did have to leave a bit early because Rome decided that he really didn't want to sleep in his pack n play. He doesn't really love that thing, and I am not sure why. He's slept in it many, many times before, but he really started protesting sleeping in there during our camping trip with my family. I am not sure if it's being in there or being in there in a strange place that he dislikes, but I hope we figure it out soon... I will be spending a decent chunk of time up at Bill and Peggy's in September, and I don't want anything to disrupt his amazing sleep schedule... Oh, that's right; I just used "amazing" and "sleep" in the same sentence with "his." Rome has slept through the night pretty much every night since our anniversary, and when I say "sleep through the night" I am talking about 7:30pm to 6:30am. It has been wonderful. And then today Marc spent the majority of his time working on/tinkering with his Porsche, while Romey and I did some running around and then played in his little tub. It has been so hot, and of course our AC would breakdown on us right before a three day weekend, but that's okay because it should be fixed tomorrow; I just have to make it one more day... fingers crossed. In other Romey news he has completely weaned himself onto a bottle. I am not exactly sure how I feel about this, but it does make my day-long study sessions much easier to plan. And his top left incisor has popped through his gum-line, finally. We have just been waiting and waiting for that tooth because we could see it under the gums, and it finally broke through a couple days ago. Of course Rome won't let me get a picture of it yet, but as soon as I have one I will post it. I DO, however, have a bunch of pictures of Roman from this morning, enjoy!

OH! And I almost forgot; Romey had another major milestone... we created his first mii. I know; it's a big deal. :)
